Claire Vane is passionate about the piano and performs, either as a soloist or as part of a chamber group, for a variety of charities. She is a Human Resources Consultant by day and is the founder and MD of a bespoke HR and recruitment consultancy, Integrated Resources Ltd.

Claire was a Saturday Exhibitioner at the Royal Northern College of Music and was taught by the last of the Clementis and by Warren Mailley-Smith. Claire holds an LTCL performance diploma from Trinity College of Music. She is currently doing a Postgraduate Certificate in Piano Performance at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

As part of her pro bono work, Claire is a Trustee of the European Piano Teacher’s Association (UK). This gives her the opportunity to use her commercial experience in a musical setting to support EPTA in growing its membership and activities.

Along with a friend, she runs a twice-yearly course for advanced adult pianists - Pianissimi.
